Strengthen the integrity of your assignments with educational technology

Academic integrity is best supported through a combination of well-designed assessment tasks and practical security measures. While no approach is foolproof, there are strategies you can apply to minimise opportunities for academic misconduct. This workshop looks at the supported educational technologies you can use to secure your assignments.

Learning objectives

In this workshop, you will be supported to:​

• understand the concepts of design, delivery and tools in the assessment integrity space

• apply techniques to secure assessments using technology 

• apply methods to strengthen assessments using technology

• recognise the strengths and limitations of academic integrity features of assessment tools

• understand how technology can be used to lockdown assignments

• recognise the impact of generative AI on assessment integrity.
