String and Nail Art Whetū, Manukau Library Tuesday 8 July 11am -1pm
Event description
Brought to you by Creative Communities!
For kids 7+ or 5+ with a supervising caregiver.
In this workshop, kids will learn a very seventies craft that is making a comeback... string and nail art! And in this Matariki class we will be making whetu! (stars).
We will be painting, hammering and then weaving string between the nails to make shapes and patterns. This is a great class to help children learn how to use a hammer!
When: Tuesday 8 July 11am - 1 pm
Where: Manukau Library 3 Osterley Way, Manukau City Centre, Auckland 2104.
