Event description

Brought to you by Creative Communities!

For kids 7+ or 5+ with a supervising caregiver.

In this workshop, kids will learn a very seventies craft making a comeback... string and nail art! And in this Matariki class, we will be making whetu! (stars).

We will be painting, hammering and then weaving string between the nails to make shapes and patterns. This is a great class to help children learn how to use a hammer!

When: Thursday 18 July 10.00 am- 12.00 pm

Where: Waitākere Central Library, 3 Ratanui Street, Henderson, Waitākere.

The ReCreators are on a mission to show the world how to reduce and reuse our natural resources. It's easy, fun, creative, and sustainable.

Join us on our journey!
