String Camp 2026 | Coffs Harbour Regional Conservatorium

The Coffs Con String Camp returns 6-9 October 2026, bringing together young string players for four days of music-making, learning, and connection.

Who can attend?

  • Open to students learning a string instrument at AMEB Grade 1 level and above.

  • Designed to help students:

    • Play alongside other young musicians

    • Build confidence and ensemble skills

    • Participate in a fun and supportive musical environment

Additional Information

String Camp provides a supportive and engaging environment where young string players can develop their musicianship, make new friends, and enjoy the experience of making music together. Participants will work with experienced tutors and take part in ensemble rehearsals and performances throughout the camp.

  • Annabelle Swainston

    Annabelle Swainston

    Annabelle is an Australian violinist and violist who trained at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. she has performed with leading orchestras across Australia and New Zealand and is an experienced teacher of violin, viola and ensemble direction. her performance career has also included national tours and collaborations with major artists and ensembles.

  • Liz Neville

    Liz Neville

    Elizabeth Neville is an accomplished cellist who trained at the Royal College of Music and Royal Academy of Music in London. She has performed with leading orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra.

  • Coria Bjerking

    Coria Bjerking

    Coria is a classically trained cellist and teacher at the Conservatorium, working with students across a range of levels. With qualifications in cello, piano, music theory and traditional Chinese music, she brings a broad musical background to her teaching and focuses on developing string technique, musicianship and confidence in both solo and ensemble performance.

  • Eden Annesley

    Eden Annesley

    Growing up in Grafton, and a graduate of the Coffs Harbour Conservatorium, Eden has gone onto perform with some of Australia’s leading ensembles, including Camerata – Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra as an Upbeat Emerging Artist. She was a member of the 2025 New Zealand String Quartet Fellowship Ensemble, the Antipodes Quartet, and co-founder of Duo Aki, a violin-saxophone ensemble that represented Australia at the 2025 Osaka World Expo.
