Organiser:
This lottery is conducted by Joanna Beswick on behalf of Selwyn Rowing Inc, located at 7 McLaughlins Road, Darfield, Canterbury, New Zealand.

Authorised Purpose:
Proceeds from this lottery will be used for the authorised purpose of supporting Selwyn Rowing Inc's sporting operations, including the purchase of rowing equipment and general club development. As a newly established club, we are working to raise a significant amount of funds to purchase Rowing Boats and Blades. These essential items will enable us to increase participation and enhance the enjoyment of the sport of rowing within the Selwyn Area.

Ticket Details:

• A total of 2,000 tickets will be offered for sale.

• Each ticket is priced at $50 (NZD).

• Each ticket must clearly state the purchaser’s full name and contact email address.

• Only tickets purchased through official channels will be valid.

• Tickets are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Draw Information:

• The draw will take place under Police supervision at the Rolleston Police Station, Canterbury, on December 17th at 10:00 AM.

• The draw will be conducted using a random name picker tool via https://www.viralsweep.com/random-name-picker.

• The winner will be selected randomly based on the ticket purchaser’s name as recorded at the time of sale.

Winner Notification and Publication:

• The winner will be notified directly via email using the contact details provided at the time of ticket purchase.

• Results will be publicly posted on the Selwyn Rowing Inc. Facebook Page and the Selwyn Rowing Website.

Eligibility:

• Members directly involved in organising the lottery draw are not eligible to enter.

Cancellation Clause:
If ticket sales are insufficient to cover the cost of the prize and other necessary expenses, Selwyn Rowing Inc. reserves the right to cancel the raffle. In the event of cancellation:

• All ticket purchases will be refunded in full minus any third-party processing fees (e.g., credit card or payment gateway charges).

• Refunds will be made to the original purchaser using the payment method provided at the time of ticket purchase.

• Notification of cancellation and refund information will be provided via email to all ticket holders and posted on the Selwyn Rowing Facebook Page and Website.
