Event description

A stroke occurs every 19 minutes in Australia. More than 27,000 Australians, of all ages, experienced a stroke for the first time during 2020.

The good news is that it doesn’t need to be this way, with up to 80 percent of strokes being preventable.

Join the Stroke Foundation to learn:

• What a stroke is and how to recognise the signs

• What to do if someone is having a stroke

• How you can prevent a stroke
