Strong Women: Smart Connections

An afternoon out with women in business. Honest stories, good company, and a few new connections.

This is the social one. No workshop, no laptop, nothing to prepare. Come along and spend the afternoon with women who have started something, grown something, or are still working out where to begin.

Some of the women in the room run established businesses. Some are turning a skill or a hobby into an income. Some have an idea and no clue what to do with it. Everyone is welcome, and you don’t need a business to come.

Angela Hayward, Founder and Principal Financial Adviser at Anchor 76 Financial.

Angela has spent 25 years in investment markets and financial advice with Macquarie Private Wealth, Morgan Stanley, Bell Potter and Credit Suisse, and led the women’s initiative at Morgan Stanley. She has also run a business with her husband, and recently started her own practice. She’ll talk honestly about backing yourself, the decisions that shaped her career, and why most women are sitting on far more capability than they give themselves credit for.
