🌊 Coach the Coaches: Open Water Clinic with Kyle Lee & Andrew Sexton
Please arrive at 8:45 for registration
Step into the world of world-class coaching and open-water expertise at our inaugural Coach the Coaches Professional Development session.
This is a unique opportunity to learn directly from Olympic open water swimmer Kyle Lee, whose international experience and dedication to the craft will inspire and broaden your perspective on training for open-water success. Alongside him, our own Andrew Sexton, an Advanced Level ASCTA-accredited coach with years of experience developing swimmers in the South-West, will share practical insights tailored to the realities of coaching open water swimmers. Julie O’Connor, Senior Coach, will lead an endurance training physiology – short session.
Together, Kyle, Andrew and Julie will deliver a dynamic, hands-on clinic designed to provide coaches with fresh tools, drills, and strategies for supporting swimmers in surf and open-water environments. Whether you’re looking to deepen your technical knowledge, build confidence in ocean safety and race preparation, or refresh your approach to coaching, this session will set you up with skills you can apply immediately with your squad.
