Stuck after concussion? New insights into what helps
Description
Join us for this FREE online session!
Most people expect to recover from concussion relatively quickly. But for some, symptoms like headaches, fatigue and difficulty concentrating can linger – affecting work, sleep, relationships, confidence and everyday life.
Join us for our next Digital Discovery with Neurological Foundation-funded researcher Dr Josh Faulkner, as he explores why some people can become “stuck” in their recovery and what might help them move forward.
Josh will share his research into ACTion mTBI, an innovative approach using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help people experiencing ongoing symptoms after concussion.
Discover how stress, sleep and fear can interact with persistent symptoms, what the latest research is telling us, and how people might be better supported on the road to recovery.
Hosted by the Neurological Foundation’s Dr Sarah Schonberger, the session will also include a live Q&A – so bring your questions!
