Cairns is home to 2 world heritage sites, a leading region in innovation and sustainability, with a council led ambition to be a leading Smart Green Economy in Australia.
Parents or teachers looking for environmental, Edu-tourism or SDG dedicated summer camp or excursion options are encouraged to consider their children/students participation in this hybrid conference coordinated by student travel specialist Banora International Group.
The conference will bring together locals, intra and interstate students as well as overseas students virtually. The full program includes a 2-day conference or a 5-day program including Edu-tourism experiences, all meals and accommodation.
Our AIM - to help students to bridge the GAP, to enable them to actual understand HOW they can GET BETTER at leading the change, ensuring the viability of their futures, preparing for careers of the future. It's not all doom and gloom, there are great projects already happening but instead of adults leading the charge, we wish to enable our youth to learn and be part of the solutions. Students will be able to learn skills / knowledge they can take back to their peers / schools to assist them to not only talk about change but implement sustainable change and how to monetise waste at the same time!
