Studio Drop-in Session
Event description
Join us on Tuesday 26 August between 5pm - 7pm to visit the new Outer Space studio facilities at the Northshore Precinct.
Outer Space's has two new studio spaces now open for applications. Each studio is a light-filled extension of your creative mind with windows, air conditioning, air duct and plenty of room to stretch, reflect, explore, and grow your practice.
Studio 1 is a 20-foot container at $65 per week (GST included)
Studio 2 is a 40-foot container at $100 per week (GST included)
Beyond your personal studio, you’ll have access to a covered outdoor workspace known as ‘The Hangar’ – perfect for messy or oversized work, as well as a fully equipped communal kitchen, bathrooms, and indoor/outdoor lounge areas, perfect for taking breaks and connecting with fellow artists and local creatives. Running water and electricity are included.
Located by the Brisbane River in Hamilton, just a 12-minute drive from Fortitude Valley, these studios offer easy access and ample free onsite parking only metres away for effortless loading and unloading.
Whether you’re local to Magandjin/Brisbane or considering relocating, this is a rare chance to secure a dedicated space where you can truly lose yourself and find yourself in your work.
Through the generous support of our Studio Sponsors, Blaklash, one of the two studio spaces on offer will be dedicated to a First Nations artist.
Please read the Terms and Conditions here.
ACCESSIBILITY: The studios are wheelchair accessible and there is ample parking available just outside the Workshop and Makerspace at the Northshore Precinct.
If you have any specific access needs or questions, please either email admin@outerspacebrisbane.org or send us a message on Instagram.
