With 20 years of legal experience in IP and commercial law under her belt, Jen works closely with clients in the creative industries, alongside a variety of exciting businesses from startups to large multinational franchises including photographers and photography studios.

• Legal considerations for both sole trade photographers and those with one or two employees, including which contracts should ideally be in place between clients, employees and employers.
• How copyright law applies to both taking photos (dependant on location and subject matter) and how IP rights apply/vary.
• The legalities of AI and how photographers can take steps to protect themselves and their images.
• The legalities of photographing people in public places and in their homes and the premise of release forms.
