Event description

STUY OR DIE is a full-length play following the lives of three Asian-American middle schoolers. Eileen wants to impress her family on the other side of the world. Brian wants his parents to come back home. Alex just wants to rap. In October of 2014, the students must take the Specialized High School Admissions Test (S.H.S.A.T), a test that will determine the rest of their lives. With 821 days before their future is packaged into a score, the three students must battle ELA, Math, and Logic questions as they search for a dream they can believe in.

STUY OR DIE will be presented at GLOW CULTURAL CENTER on February 15, 2025 — doors open at 2:00PM. Following the event, we will be hosting a FREE IMMERSIVE CARNIVAL with refreshments, goal-setting activities, and prizes.

Tickets are completely FREE! While donations are always welcome, they’re not required. Reserve yours now to skip the hassle at the door—or before they’re all gone!
