Sub Basics has been producing electronic music for over a decade, showcasing his dubstep style on renowned labels such as Infernal Sounds, Foundation Audio, Jaun Forte, and J. Kenzo’s Lion Charge. In addition to his dubstep releases, Sub Basics has made big waves in the bass techno scene with his signature dub techno rollers, which have been released on Steve O'Sullivan's legendary Mosaic record label, his own imprint Temple of Sound, and on Modern Hypnosis. His tracks are played worldwide at festivals and clubs by artists such as Objekt, Ben UFO, Mia Koden, Azu Tiwaline, Yush, Kia, and Steve O'Sullivan, to name just a few.

DEEPTANK is a club night with a focus on the deep and heavy sounds of bass, dubstep, and sound system music, where selectors share their idea of what that means to them. Born from a vision to educate and make space for soundsystem centric music in hopes of creating a community unified by a love of all things bass.

ACCESSIBILITY - Ancient World has a flight of 6 stairs to enter the bar and dance floor via the beer-garden. No strobes or fast moving lights will be used but some bright stage lights may be present. Get in touch or let us know on the night to discuss possible solutions and sensory accommodations.

HARM REDUCTION. With a spike of fentanyl being found in Ketamine and Cocaine there's been a rise in deaths from accidental overdose. While we've not seen worrying situations at our events, we will have Naloxone (Narcan) on hand to help with any potential life-threatening situations. If you're worried about somebody please fetch John, Daria, or alert bar staff and we will help as best we can.

CROWD SAFETY. If you're feeling uncomfortable from a fellow punter or witnessing dangerous behaviour from anyone in the venue, please alert the promoters, venue staff or security and we will deal with the situation in a mindful and compassionate manner.

Anti-social behavior is not welcome at these events; no racism, no sexism, no homophobia, no transphobia.
