Sub Magmatic is a 7 piece instrumental dub/reggae sound that has developed a heavy sound in Kaurna Land - Adelaide. Since erupting in 2024, Sub-Magmatic have backed up global dub heavyweight ‘Pachyman’, as well as Kaurna’s very own reggae king’s ‘Dojo Rise’. Their sound is blended with Australian and Aotearoa flare, taking inspiration from Fat Freddies Drop, Salmonella dub and Black Seeds to name a few.
Their debut single ‘Left Handed’ released May 2026 and was a hit in the Adelaide/Melbourne community being played on PBS Radio and Three D radio. The song encapsulates the heavy, dubby sound and is the breakout of Sub Magmatic in the world.
