    Sub Rosa Sessions is the revival of an intimate monthly concert series of the same name which ran for nearly 4 years in Syracuse, NY. Hosted by it's original host, Singer-Songwriter Amanda Rogers, who curates the concerts with hand-picked high-quality artists from around the world, bringing a unique and intimate listening experience to CNY in a new secret downtown Syracuse location with a fresh new team. 

    Sub Rosa (adj.): Happening or done in secret. It literally means "under the rose" in Latin. The rose, an ancient symbol for secrecy. 

    The secret speak-easy style music venue in Downtown Syracuse caps attendance to 80 persons to maintain the intimacy. Bringing the 'best under the radar music from around the world' for an intimate concert experience. 

    This session features Baltimore-based Americana roots-rock band, June Star,  fronted by Andrew Grimm whose evocative vocal stylings can't be mistaken for anyone else's. "Peerless writing, sheer dynamisms, and originality of everything." Accompanied by one of the best pedal steel players tastefully supporting every turn of emotion Andrew brings.

    Khalil Jade, a modern folk artist who sweetly and soulfully sings heart-centered originals leaving an impression on all who listen. Khalil Jade's music serves as a beacon of positivity, seamlessly blending elements of folk, Americana, and blues into her captivating originals. Her songs feature soothing vocals and complimentary guitar melodies, paired with relatable lyrics that reflect upon life's joys, struggles, and profound moments. 

    Admission includes libations and refreshments gratis. 

    ***All ticket holders to meet at the Tectonic Hand Sculpture in front of City Hall, Downtown Syracuse, NY at 5:55pm for the guided walk to the venue location less than 1 block away.***
