SOPHIAN

Sophian is led by Maldivian-born frontman Soph Manik who can create lyrical entwined meaningful pop songs with the vocal reminiscent of a smooth Jeff Buckley and the edge of a young Caleb Followill.ย

Sophianโ€™s band consists of Julia Krsanac (bass), Tyler Vivian (drums), and Michael Madafferi (guitar), they are highly skilled and collide a variety of influences from Coldplay to Kings of Leon, Spacey Jane, and Jeff Buckley to create a dynamic, genre-fusing and energetic performance.

DHARSHINI DEE

Dharshini Deeโ€™s entrancing vocal journey blossomed from the fusion of her adoration for iconic classics and her own musical expression. The artist's songwriting voyage embarked later, stemming from her experience crafting lyrics for the psychedelic rock ensemble 'No Deadlines'. Despite the band's eventual disbandment, Dharshini Dee's love for music remained unwavering. She embarked on a transformative solo endeavour, determined to master the guitar and wield its strings to breathe life into her lyrical tales.

Her journey, characterised by a profound connection to music and a dynamic fusion of cultural influences, has evolved into an expressive narrative that resonates with audiences worldwide. Dharshini Dee's roots trace back to her early exposure to the melodies of The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey and more, are now clustered with some of her current influences of Norah Jones, Mahalia, India Arie to name a few ๐ŸŽถ

His storytelling method of songwriting portrays his love for the ocean, the southwest and his experiences with the people he meets. Predominantly sharing his music by busking at markets and on street sides, Sam has begun to branch out to ticketed events and weddings. Sam is no stranger to live performances having appeared on the successful ten day musicย festival 'Suburban Vibes in Subi' for 2023 as well as the Ocean Heroes Fundraiser alongside Yo Yo Sun and East Coast folk duo Alivan Blu. He has also shared the stage with Australian Idol Top Ten contestant Sash Seabourne.
