Tay Oskee  ‘Keepers Of The Morning’ Australian Tour

Suburban Vibes is thrilled that the stars have aligned and we finally get to host East Coast artist Tay Oskee on his ‘Keepers Of The Morning’ Australian Tour.

Following the release of his stunning debut album Keepers Of The Morning, Tay Oskee has announced a massive Australian tour for 2024. Returning to the Southern Hemisphere after 6 months of touring the United Kingdom and Europe, Tay has shared the stage with the likes of The Cat Empire, Ziggy Alberts, and Mike Love. Now it is Australia’s turn to hear a taste of the new album live, plus favourites like Black Smoke and Floating. Joined by Brook Street, the Keepers Of The Morning Tour promises to be an evening packed with feel-good folk/roots music performed by Tay and his full live band.

We have the perfect riverside venue booked for this stunning show. As with all of our shows, you get to see these artists in a setting like no other and don't forget to pack your cheese platters and wine  as this is a BYO Food & Drinks show.

Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7.00pm sharp start.

For those new to Suburban Vibes, there will be time to chat and mingle throughout the night however, we ask that whilst the artists are playing, you immerse yourself in their music and limit talking and getting up and down. Our crowd loves the intimacy of our shows so please come and listen, connect and enjoy what you don't get to see or hear at your normal music venues.

Upon listening to Tay Oskee's music, his deep connection to the natural world becomes unmissable. Sewn throughout his heartfelt lyrics are traces of his past, present and future – from his formative years living amongst the Yolngu people of North East Arnhem Land, to the tropical beauty of his hometown Mission Beach, to the seductive call of the horizon. Adding swaying, breezy rhythms to soaring melodies, Tay traverses a spectrum from chilled beach tunes to punchy folk, bolstered by his signature instrumentation.. 🎶

We are Brook St, an Australiana - folk duo from the Sunshine Coast Australia! We're so glad you could join us. We met at a gig 6 years ago, connected over our love of music & life experiences & have recently married in 2021. Life is a beautiful, messy, devastating and wonderful journey in so many ways & songwriting is often the way we make sense of it all. Together we are so excited to give these new songs wings and let them land in your lives in whatever way they might. At a show. On the road. Sitting at home with a cuppa tea. They remind us of tall gum trees & open spaces. Maybe they'll remind you of something too.

Dharshini Dee’s entrancing vocal journey blossomed from the fusion of her adoration for iconic classics and her own musical expression. The artist's songwriting voyage embarked later, stemming from her experience crafting lyrics for the psychedelic rock ensemble 'No Deadlines'. Despite the band's eventual disbandment, Dharshini Dee's love for music remained unwavering. She embarked on a transformative solo endeavour, determined to master the guitar and wield its strings to breathe life into her lyrical tales.Her journey, characterised by a profound connection to music and a dynamic fusion of cultural influences, has evolved into an expressive narrative that resonates with audiences worldwide. Dharshini Dee's roots trace back to her early exposure to the melodies of The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey and more, are now clustered with some of her current influences of Norah Jones, Mahalia, India Arie to name a few 🎶
