    SYNOPSIS

Set against the backdrop of pre-war Nazi Germany, and within the four walls of a paediatric clinic, “Chosen Ones” follows Walter Fischer, a doctor burdened with the duty of deeming disabled patients “unfit” for society, and in doing so condemning them to forced sterilisation and state-sanctioned murder. As Walter treats a group of children, he reckons with an inner conflict, cowardice and courage, to eventually face a choice between what is moral and what is mandated.
