Event description

Explore the Impact of Suicide: Join Our Community Forums!

Have you been touched by the effects of suicide? Do you offer support to those impacted by it? Are you a concerned member of our community with a particular interest in understanding suicide and the resources available?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, we invite you to participate in an engaging forum hosted by our Lived Experience of Suicide panel. Together, we're launching the Grkef and Suicide Prevention Project funded by the WA Mental Health Commission.

Discover the vital work of The Grief Centre as they offer postvention support to those affected by suicide, and learn about the services available through our project. Hear the personal stories of our reference group members, each sharing their unique lived experiences with suicide.

This forum offers an opportunity to shape our project through shared narratives. We'll delve into questions such as:

  • What support was beneficial to you in your journey?
  • What aspects of support could be improved?

Plus, engage in a Q&A session with our reference group panel.

Come ready to share your own insights and experiences, as we collectively explore the profound impacts of suicide on our community.

We extend this invitation to individuals affected by suicide, service providers offering support in this area, and any community members interested in understanding and addressing this issue.

Refreshments will be provided, and attendance is free of charge.
