Event description

Learn more about the role you as an AHA can play in health settings to support people with thoughts of suicide.

Join world leaders in suicide prevention training, LivingWorks, for a webinar focusing on the benefits of training clinicians in suicide first aid through evidence-based, accredited suicide intervention and safety planning. LivingWorks Australia is the leading developer of suicide intervention skills training with more than 40 years of experience. LivingWorks is a mission-driven organisation with an industry-leading approach to suicide prevention: we want to empower everyone to play a role.

Marc Bryant from LivingWorks will present on the need for AHAs to be skilled in evidence-based suicide intervention and safety planning for consumers within any sector of mental health care. AHAs are a driving force of consumer interventions within the mental health sector and AHAs, like AHPs, need to be properly educated to effectively and safely complete their role.

This free webinar will include a presentation and plenty of time for Q&A and discussion.
