Suite Music - Wollongong

Suite Music brings together a rich and varied program for string orchestra, celebrating music of warmth, elegance and vitality. 

The concert includes Grieg’s Holberg Suite, Puccini’s deeply expressive Chrysantemi, John Rutter’s lyrical Suite for Strings, and Ann Carr-Boyd’s vibrant Fandango for Strings. 

Joining the orchestra is acclaimed French Horn soloist Michael Dixon for Haydn’s charming Horn Concerto No. 1.

From Baroque-inspired refinement to Romantic lyricism and contemporary Australian colour, Suite Music is an engaging musical journey that celebrates the expressive beauty and versatility of the string orchestra.
