Summer Fun(draiser): LOBBY: Art + Architecture 2025
Event description
The Lobby. The transitional zone between the public and the private, where the mitigation and expression of movement from one side to the other can become something all its own - a zone for encounters, art, and identity within our urban fabric.
Venture beyond Melbourne’s bustling CBD streets and into the lobbies of its iconic commercial buildings and galleries.
Led by art advisor, Helen Sweatman, this walking tour examines the relationship between art and architecture, its form and function, and the profound impact that this relationship has had on the urban landscape of Australia’s cultural capital.
This tour starts at 1 Spring St, Melbourne VIC 3000 and will conclude at 185 Flinders Ln, Melbourne VIC 3000.
