Summer Place Lecture Series #1 Carly Martin See the Forest

Join Carly Martin, Albury-based architect as we explore the 2021 Summer Place pavilion, ‘See the Forest’. Carly will offer a visual overview of the project’s development, inspirations and aims as well as the potential for architectural investigation in designing a pavilion.

Carly’s use of visceral, locally harvested raw timber slabs in ‘See the Forest’ seeks to link QEII Square with the Murray River landscape, posing questions about the local environment, sustainability, and the meaning of Summer in the region.
