Join the gang from FISHPOND for an afternoon of fun and friendship in the brand new beer garden at The Beach Hotel Broadbeach.  

The drinks are well priced, cold and varied. The food is delicious.  

The service is second to none and the location is easy to get to, centrally located in Broadbeach and comes with a fresh ocean breeze!

Tickets are only $5 to confirm your RSVP and secure your spot at our table. There is no further minimum spend.

Order from the delicious menu for your lunch or tapas options.

Order your own drinks from the bar or just drink water.  Your budget - your choices.  

Why does FISHPOND charge a $5 RSVP fee?

• Your payment is your commitment to attend.
  • Pushing RSVP is easy to do.  Showing up on the day can often be a lot harder.  We don't look at your Facebook event RSVP.  Your $5 ticket tells us that you've thought about attending and you've made a commitment to yourself and to us to be there.  
• The team at FISHPOND have great relationships with the venues we host our events at. 
  • We'd hate to book for 20 and have only 15 turn up... that's a massive loss of income for the venue from a table that could have been used by someone else.   
• A LOT of time and effort goes into creating quality, memorable events for our Piscators.
  • It takes time to create these events.  
    • We spend a lot of time researching the coolest locations, the trendiest bars, the hottest new spots and then move heaven and earth to get reservations.
  • Our time is just as valuable as yours so we appreciate your recognition of this.  
    • $5 per person doesn't cover the actual costs involved in running a group like this, but it sure does help!  Thank you.  
• The hosts always ensure that you are recognised, personally greeted, welcomed and included in at every event you attend.
  • If you struggle to walk in to a social environment on your own - then please reach out to the hosts.  We will meet you at the door, around the corner or even share an uber ride in with you if that helps you to make that first step.  We will personally introduce you to the other members and stay by your side until you have comfortably found your way to other members to chat with.  This is our commitment to you. 
• It's not just for fun... although we always have a great time at FISHPOND events, and join in on the drinking and shenanigans, we do have to make a living and we thank you for your support. xxx
