Free holiday play sessions at a local adventure playground! Bring your children along to meet some local friends, make some new friends and have a whole lot of fun!

Joomunjie Land is Eagleby’s ‘Community Backyard’. Meaning it is a place for children to meet up with friends, have fun, muck around, play games, construct, be creative and just play.

Play is such an important part of childhood. It is how children test and learn new knowledge and skills, build identity, celebrate who they are now, make sense of the world, de-stress, build motivation and stay healthy and fit.

Eagleby South State School has been creating great play opportunities for your children. Joomunijie Land is about making more opportunities for your children to play with friends these school holidays, in a safe space, with Grown-Up supervision. Playworkers from the Australian Institute of Play will be at these sessions to facilitate fun!

Parents are welcome to stay and play too, but the space is for children. When booking, please only book a ticket for any children attending.

*The Australian Institute of Play often takes photos at these events for their Facebook page and reporting purposes. If you do not want your child to be photographed, please collect a band on the way in to help us identify your child/re

Wednesday 8 January 2025, is sponsored by Logan City Council. On this day, attendees from Logan will be required to sign an extra form upon arrival. Photos taken on this day may be shared with Logan City Council for reporting.
