As the sun reaches its peak, we gather to honor the solstice—a powerful threshold of illumination and release. Join us at Chameleon New Age Hair Salon for a sacred Despacho ceremony led by shaman Naythan Thórpe. This ancient Q’ero tradition offers a profound way to align with the rhythms of nature, giving thanks to Pachamama (Mother Earth) and the Apus (mountain spirits) for their guidance and support.

In this ceremony, we will build a despacho mandala together, each participant infusing offerings—flowers, sweets, shells, and sacred objects—with their prayers for healing, abundance, and gratitude. Whether you are celebrating the height of summer’s energy or the introspective quiet of winter (depending on your tradition), this ritual invites you to pause, offer thanks, and set intentions for the season ahead.

Rooted in the principle of ayni (reciprocity), the Despacho is a communal act of balance and connection. Your presence, prayers, and offerings become part of a collective bundle that honors the sacred web of life.
