Dr. Mark O'Connell is a tree scientist who works across three major levy funded projects: Precision Summerfruit Orchards (SF2300), Narrow Orchard Systems (AS22002) and Serviced Supply Chains II (AM21000). He'll give project updates as well as practical advice on fruit set, thinning and improving technology.
Jess Byrne is the Industry Development Manager for Summerfruit Australia, working on SF23004 Summerfruit Communications and Extension Project. She will present whats been happening in the last 12 months for SAL, including the new strategy and be open for questions and discussions from growers.
Hear from Committee Chair Anthony Cacetta and new IDO Kim Starkie who will also MC a Q&A Panel with Mark, Jess and Susannah Roelfsz, Technical Officer from the Fresh Produce Safety Centre
