Sun Day Solar Picnic Sydney
Event description
Join us on Sunday 21 September as we celebrate Australia’s rooftop solar and battery success with a Solar Picnic in Cahill Park, Wolli Creek.

Yummy Sunny Cupcakes
Find out about the benefits of rooftop solar and home batteries, and how people who are locked out of solar can join our campaign to get more solutions.
Wolli Creek resident Carolin Wenzel will speak on the high-rise electrification retrofit project Electrify Wolli Creek, providing a short outline, update and how you can get involved.
Solar Citizens' CE0 Heidi Lee Douglas will launch their new "Raise the Roof" campaign: to double rooftop solar and storage by triggering policies to help renters, apartments and strata get fair access to rooftop solar and storage, and unpack what COP31 means for our rooftop solar ambition.
This event is part of Sun Day, a new global mobilisation to celebrate the power of clean energy and how we can all be part of powering our future with the sun.
