Shining Lights
Description
Shining Lights
Mitch Berick - clarinet
Cameron Hill, Holly Piccoli - violins
Martin Alexander - viola
Andrew Leask - cello
A rare opportunity to hear Mozart's luminous Clarinet Quintet performed by some of Adelaide's shining lights in a version for basset clarinet that more closely reflects Mozart's original manuscript. Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's Clarinet Quintet is both energetic and lyrical, combining the rich romanticism of Brahms with a distinctive English character.
The concert runs for approximately 60 to 70 minutes, with no interval.
After the concert, stay on to meet the musicians and share South Australian Coriole Vineyard wine and cheese, or a non-alcoholic alternative. Pre-ordering is required to help minimise food waste.
