Sunbury Community Drop In - draft Noise Sharing Plan for Melbourne Airport's Third Runway

Melbourne Airport’s third runway is a major infrastructure project that will support Victoria’s future growth and connectivity. When all three runways are operational in 2031, the way aircraft noise is experienced across Melbourne will change. To help manage these changes, a draft Noise Sharing Plan has been developed. The Plan outlines how air traffic control can use different runways and flight paths to share the impacts of aircraft noise across communities.

Join us at a community information session to learn more about the draft Noise Sharing Plan, ask questions, and share your feedback. Melbourne Airport will also be attending to discuss its 2027 Master Plan, which outlines the long-term vision for Australia's largest 24-hour airport.
