Event description

Join Arts facilitator Alice Boardman for a 4.5 hour workshop to create your own unique glass suncatcher. This workshop uses the traditional technique of copper foiling. 

Learn to cut glass, foil, and solder, all in the beautiful newly hand crafted stained glass adorned Chapel. Hard not to be inspired in a space like this! (There will even be some templates inspired by some of the windows).

Your teacher will guide you in the process to tack solder your piece together and then tin your piece in a solder coating and attach your hanging point.

All materials provided. Perfect for all skill levels. Reserve your spot and make something special to spread colourful light in any room of your home.

This workshop welcomes participants of all experience levels, from novices to seasoned artists.

Whether you're a crafting enthusiast or trying it for the first time! Participants must be over 16yrs.

Health and Safety

Age: 16+ 

During this workshop, we work with a lead free solder and you will be wearing the provided PPE. However If you’re pregnant or have any health concerns, it’s a good idea to check in with your doctor beforehand.
