Join us for the final Sunday Classics at Heritage of 2026 as an outstanding ensemble of Australian orchestral musicians comes together to celebrate the rich and distinctive voices of Australian composition.

Featuring wind players from the West Australian Symphony Orchestra alongside guest flautist Hayley Radke from the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, this exclusive afternoon presents four works by living Australian composers, each offering a unique perspective on our landscapes, cultures and contemporary musical identity.

From the graceful lyricism of Elena Kats-Chernin's Sand Waltz to the contemplative beauty of Anne Boyd's Wind Across Bamboo, the evocative textures of Lachlan Skipworth's Echoes and Lines, and the unmistakable imagination of Ross Edwards' The Laughing Moon, this program invites listeners into a world of color, movement and storytelling.
