Sunday Crafternoon: Dreidel Derby 2024!

Join us for Crafternoon, a self-guided, themed crafting session with reuse materials! Our weekly themes vary, offering exciting inspiration like seasonal decor, miniatures, paper crafts, and unusual material challenges. All materials provided. This week's theme is... the Annual Dreidel Derby Crafternoon! 🕎🏆

Are you baruch atah ado-noid that there aren't enough Hanukkah activities around the holidays?! Well, we were too, until we took the reins and began putting on the annual SCRAP DIY Dreidel Derby four winters ago! This Sunday, we're celebrating Hanukkah by designing spinning and sparkling DIY dreidels from unique reused materials. Surely a few friendly games of dreidel will be played, but we also love to derby down and see whose dreidel spins longest! We don't have gelt to win, but we do have cute stickers, gems, and other fun prizes. (🎶 Oh dreidel, dreidel, dreidel, I made it out of ... a CD and some toothpicks!) Come through, mishpocha, and get crafty!

2-4pm | Ages 5+. Youth must be accompanied by an adult | Masks strongly encouraged

SCRAP prioritizes access to affordable art materials and expression, so we’re offering tiered ticket options:

• Curious Crafter ($10) - Our most accessible option for community members experiencing financial hardship. Also a great option for large families.
