Sunday Series is a curated evening of dance, presented by loveDANCEmore, that supports low-tech experimentation of new work in Salt Lake City, UT. For this special edition of Sunday Series, all artists have been selected by a panel from our parallel program of in-progress work Monday Movement Lab, produced in collaboration with Resident Artist, Rae Luebbert.

About Sunday Series:

Our original artist support program was a work-in-progress series called Mudson which lasted for ten years and got its unusual name from a mash-up of the Judson Church (a historic site of experimental dance in 1960s NYC) and the Masonic Temple here in SLC. In fall of 2021, Mudson became Sunday Series - a curated event by the organizing team and board of loveDANCEmore.

Rae Luebbert  (she/they, resident artist + producer of Monday Movement Lab) is an arts administrator, a community organizer, a movement artist, a filmmaker, and a dance educator. Rae is the director and co-curator of the annual Noori Screendance Festival, the facilitator of Monday Movement Lab (a creative incubator space for new dance work) and a 2022-2025 loveDANCEmore Artist in Residence. Rae has participated in Queer Spectra Arts Festival as an artist and volunteer since 2019. Rae joined the Queer Spectra Organizing Team in 2023 and loves working with queer artists in multi-disciplinary spaces.
