Nice Girl (Ruby Kerkhofs) is a Kiwi-born, Naarm/Melbourne-based Producer and DJ. Her 2019 debut release with Houses in Motion was an eclectic dance floor focused 6-track EP gaining attention from Bell Towers. Later that year she released ‘Take a Step’ via Public Possession. Post-pandemic saw Nice Girl’s polar opposite with 4-track EP ‘Whistling Thorn’ incarnating organic, psychedelic and percussive sounds. Since then she has featured in New Zealand’s first Boiler Room Broadcast and released a full-length album ‘Ipsum’. As a DJ Nice Girl is non-constrained by Genre, BPM or Trends. She has been described as “taking dance music tropes and making them weird, sometimes even hilarious, without losing sight of what makes them danceable” - Resident Advisor

Patella is known for their smooth blend of house, minimal and techno, their music takes inspiration from artists like Silat Beksi, Demuir, Traumer, and Liquid Earth. Over the past 6 years, Patella has supported numerous national and international acts including jamesjamesjames, Blackloops, Aloka and Silat BeksiIn association with and thanks to Euphoric Buzz Sound System, Low-Strung Productions and Two Minds.

MEET URGENCY
Our very own bar manager, DJ & good guy. Toby aka Urgency born and raised in Otautahi has been a deep house enthusiast for many years. Urgency brings an underground sound to his sets with inspiration stemming from deep house legends like, Frankie Knuckles, Omar S, Demuir, Kerri Chandler & many more.
