Event description

Relax into the calm of a sunset boat trip along the Maribyrnong River and uncover the lifeblood of our local waterways. Learn about the vital role played by the river’s two major tributaries—Jacksons Creek flowing from the north-west and Deep Creek flowing from the north—and how supporting their natural flow is key to the health of the Maribyrnong River and its surrounding ecosystems.

This guided experience will explore the environmental flows necessary to sustain the Maribyrnong, with plenty of time for conversation and learning. Whether you’re a local or just curious, come join the community in understanding the river’s past, present, and the future we can all help shape.

Date: Tuesday 11th February

Time: 5.30pm - 7.30pm (please arrive 5.15 for boarding)

Board: Meet at the Poyntons Landing which is opposite 104 The Boulevard, Aberfeldie
