SunSLAY SLAYOFFS is a four-week live drag competition presented by SunSLAY Drag.
The competition features 18 drag performers competing across three preliminary heats, with six contestants performing each week. Artists will showcase their drag through a lip sync performance that highlights their creativity, stage presence, and unique performance style. A panel of four judges and the audience will both play a role in determining the outcome, with one Judges' Choice winner and one Audience Choice winner advancing from each heat.
The six finalists will return for the Grand Final, where they will perform a new number before the judges and audience each select a finalist. The final two competitors will then battle in a lip sync showdown to determine the overall winner. The winner receives a cash prize of $1000 and a future SunSLAY Adelaide Fringe opportunity.
The competition is open to drag queens, drag kings and all things between, with a focus on celebrating the diversity and talent within Australia's drag community.
