Event description

If you produce gigs, shows or events and pay performers, you very likely need to be paying super.

Hosted by Pomme de Terror (performer and producer) and Taco (accountant and performer)

It’s a legal requirement, and the best time to start paying is now.

This practical, no-nonsense workshop will provide you with the information you need to get it sorted.

We’ll cover:

  • Why super matters and why you (probably) legally have to pay it

  • When the laws changed, and what that means for you

  • How much super to pay and when it’s due

  • How to pay it through the ATO portal or your accounting software

  • What to do if someone asks for back payment, and what your rights and theirs are

  • Tax reporting responsibilities and potential benefits

No jargon, no judgement, just everything you need to start managing super the right way, support your artists, and stay on the right side of the law.

Flexible pricing options are available for full accessibility. Free tickets are limited.

NOTE: This workshop will not be recorded, as it will contain facilitator's personal ATO and business software information.
