Superhero Sketches with Mark Guthrie @ Civic Square Library

Calling all budding artists and superhero fans! Join professional illustrator Mark Guthrie for a fun, hands-on drawing workshop where you’ll learn how to create your very own superhero characters and cartoons.

Discover how to bring your characters to life through their look, personality, powers and action poses. Grab your pencils, unleash your imagination and get ready to draw, create and become a superhero storyteller!

About Mark Guthrie

Mark Guthrie is an Australian Author/Illustrator/Cartoonist. A Bachelor of Visual Arts led to Walt Disney and Mark worked on most 2D animated features that have a 2 or 3 in their title. Post Mickey Mouse, he is an Illustrator/Cartoonist. Publishers he has worked with include Scholastic Australia, Koala Books, Blake Education, Pearson Education, Transworld Publisher and Cengage Learning. His cartoons and picture puzzles are seen weekly throughout Australia and other countries.

Cancellation

• If you are no longer able to attend, please contact the library as soon as possible so the place can be offered to someone on the waitlist.

• If you are unwell, we kindly ask that you stay home and notify the library when possible.

Waitlist

• Many of our sessions are very popular, which is why tickets are released one week in advance.

• If a session is fully booked, we encourage you to join the waitlist. Places are often offered to waitlisted participants when cancellations occur.
