Event description

Cutting-edge Eora arts collective SOFT CENTRE makes its long-awaited Narrm debut with SUPERMODEL, an expansive three-day program of ecstatic performances, deep-dive keynotes, screenings and workshops unfolding at the Trades Hall from 29-31 August.

Day one of SOFT CENTRE’s SUPERMODEL kicks off with We Sing for AI, a creative composition workshop led by visionary Japanese performance artist and sound poet Tomomi Adachi.

Immerse yourself in Tomomi’s unique approach to generative composition and experimental theatre music, through the creation of an improvised choir piece made with AI generated texts and extended voice techniques.

The workshop is open to musicians and amateurs alike. Don’t miss this opportunity to collaborate with one of Japan’s most revered experimental artists.

Please note: this workshop is for ages 18+. Capacity is limited.

At the request of the SUPERMODEL artists, SOFT CENTRE’s SUPERMODEL program has relocated to Trades Hall.
