Supertee Community Packing Event | Supported by IMB Bank
Description
Help bring strength through imagination this Christmas
Join us at Wests Illawarra for a hands-on Supertee community packing event, made possible thanks to the generous support of IMB Bank Community Foundation.
We need 30 volunteers to pack 384 Supertees so they can be delivered to children in hospital in time for Christmas. Give two and a half hours of your time and help turn this support into something a child and their family can hold onto.
What is a Supertee?
A Supertee is a specially designed medical garment that looks like a superhero costume. Shoulder and side openings make changing easier and allow access around medical tubes and lines. It brings comfort, imagination and a chance for children to feel like the heroes they are during their hospital stay.

What happens at a packing event?
You'll work alongside other volunteers and the Supertee team to prepare and pack Supertee care packages ready for delivery to hospitals. We'll guide you through the process on the day, so no previous packing experience is needed. It's a practical, social way to make a difference together.
