Elevating Brunswick

Elevating Brunswick is a community group formed as a shared voice for the people who live along the Upfield rail corridor. We represent more than 1,000 residents across 20+ apartment buildings between Jewell and Anstey stations — the homes closest to Victoria's biggest inner-city rail transformation.

We support the removal of the level crossings. Our mission is to make sure it's done well: a project that's a good neighbour to the homes beside it, belongs to Brunswick, is within reach of everyone, designed for climate, usable in all seasons, and a genuine corridor for nature.

We work constructively with government, the Level Crossing Removal Project, Merri-bek Council and local representatives to secure the best possible design for our community — now and for the century to come.
