Support Access Programs | Mosman Art Gallery

Mosman Art Gallery is proud to provide a safe and educative space for people with access needs.

Year-round the Gallery delivers programs that bring art to wider audiences. These programs include A Picture of Health supporting people living with memory loss, Art Explorers for under 5’s and live youth events.

This year Mosman Art Gallery will commission audio descriptions and an access tour for audiences who are blind or have low vision. These will be developed by Artist Educators Tully Arnott and Lisa Andrew. 

Tully Arnott will interpret works by Khaled Sabsabi, Yasmin Smith and Maddison Gibbs. These audio descriptions will aid understanding the context, materiality and intention behind the artists’ works.

Lisa Andrew will lead an access tour through the Gallery and engage with artworks in a tactile way with additional materials supplied by the artists followed by an art-making session.
