Early Childhood Australia, South Australia, The Early Childhood Organisation of South Australia, Nature Play SA and the Preschool Directors Association of South Australia are proud to launch another collaborative project: Reclaiming What Matters in Early Childhood.
Over the course of the collaborative project that will extend into 2023, we are coming together to plan a series of online professional learning sessions that will have a strong focus on the five domains of child development from the Australian Early Development Census:
• physical health and wellbeing
• social competence
• emotional maturity
• language and cognitive skills (school-based)
• communication skills and general knowledge.
Join us in welcoming Rick Baldock from ACHPER SA to discuss the importance of physical development, the challenges children, educators and families face in an increasingly sedentary world and the possibilities to improve this space for the overall wellbeing of children and young people.
