Supporting Eating Disorder Recovery: A workshop for Friends and Family
Event description
When someone you love has an eating disorder, you may want to help, but may be afraid to say the wrong thing. We’ll discuss and practice some strategies and tools to help you gain confidence in supporting your loved one.
As with all our workshops, this workshop is free to attend. This workshop is hosted in a scent-free building and has a free parking lot along with street parking. If you are using public transit we are able to provide bus tickets at your request.
More information to be sent closer to the workshop date.
Please read before registering:
- This workshop is open to anyone supporting a loved one and not suitable for people experiencing disordered eating themselves.
- We will also be providing lunch, so to have any food allergies considered, please let us know by emailing edprogram@womenshealthclinic.org by April 21st, 2025.
- Please be mindful that in-person workshops have limited space and that registering for this workshop means you are committed to attending.
With that said, we understand circumstances may change, so let us know if you are no longer able to attend by "returning your ticket" using the "manage order" button located in your order confirmation email. To allow time for your spot to be filled we ask you do this at least 1 week before the day of the workshop.
