Supporting the Primary Health Sector Response to Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence (FDSV) pilot - Salisbury
Event description
We want to hear from the disability community about how the Primary Health sector can respond and support people with disability. As part of this, we are holding community consultations.
The information gathered from these community consultations will
help design a pilot aiming to improve how GP clinics better support and
respond to victim-survivors of FDSV. This is funded by Adelaide Primary
Health Network (as part of a commonwealth government initiative).
Attendees will receive an honoraria payment as a token of gratitude.
We are keen to hear from people with disability, their families and/or professionals who may support people with disability - particularly those who live in the northern suburbs of metropolitan Adelaide, and regionally in areas such as Whyalla and Port Augusta.
This is a limited opportunity. Preference will be given to people who live in these regions, however we still encourage you to register if you don't or haven't lived in these areas.
Please note, we are not asking anyone to share personal trauma stories - our focus is solely on gathering advice and recommendations to inform better practices in healthcare settings.
