This panel and Q&A event aims to provide valuable information on gender affirming care from medical experts and those with lived experience. Whether you're a parent, partner, friend, or ally, this event offers a safe space to learn, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of how to best support trans and gender diverse loved ones.
Panel Members:
- Dr Julia Moore - Consultant Psychiatrist for the Gender Diversity Service (GDS) at Perth Children’s Hospital.
- Dr Tim Hewitt -Â Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in Subiaco.
- Dr Penny Wood -Â Alexander Heights GP experienced in gender affirming care.
- Mr Emery Wishart -Â TransFolk of WA Team Lead and Alternatives to Suicide trainer.

Parking and Location Details
All parking is free at Curtin after 4:30pm. We recommend parking in PI1 (see red circle on map), which is best accessed from Curtin's main entrance on Kent Street.
Ushers will be located at the bottom of Rob Riley Walk (see red square on map).
TL Robertson Library is building 105 (purple circle on map). From PI1 carpark it can be accessed by walking down Rob Riley Walk and turning left onto Sir Charles Court Promenade. The library has two entrances (see purple squares on map).
**Please allow 10 minutes minutes to walk from the carpark to the library.
