ResourceSmart Schools is an award-winning Victorian Government program that assists schools to embed sustainability in everything they do. The SWWS workshop will help guide your school to reduce water use and improve water efficiency while saving money.  

Come along and fast-track sustainability in your school: 

  • Meet and work with like-minded individuals 
  • Create a structure to achieve sustainability in your school 
  • Get access to an RSS facilitator every week and to sustainability knowledge 
  • You can join from anywhere  

Workshop content: 

  • Setting Goals to Improve Water Use in School 
  • Completing a Water Audit for your School 
  • Developing a Water Efficient Action Plan 
  • Water in the Curriculum and Creating Sustainable Students 
  • Engaging the School Community in Reducing Water Consumption 

CRT support is available to the first 20 schools to register*  

Schools registered with RSS in the Gippsland, Grampians, Hume and Loddon Mallee in Victoria may be eligible to receive one half day of CRT funding, per financial year to attend RSS Professional Development workshops.

Please note this event will take place on Microsoft teams. 

This event is designed specifically for regionally located schools and teachers across Gippsland, Grampians, Hume and Loddon Mallee in Victoria. If you or your organisation are interested in attending and are unsure if you are in these regions or are interested in presenting to the audience, please contact RegionalRSS@sustainability.vic.gov.au
