Beating Burnout: Supporting Your Wellbeing

Practical Strategies to Prevent Burnout and Build a Sustainable Career

Registration from 5:45 pm for a 6:00 pm start

As part of their commitment to supporting the rural and regional primary healthcare workforce, gpex and WQPHN have partnered to deliver Beating Burnout: Supporting Your Wellbeing. This interactive workshop is designed to help General Practitioners and primary healthcare professionals strengthen their wellbeing, recognise the early signs of burnout and develop practical strategies for building a healthy, sustainable career.

Drawing on research and clinical experience with Australian GPs, the workshop explores the factors that contribute to wellbeing and burnout, helping participants understand what supports them to thrive both professionally and personally. Through guided reflection and discussion, attendees will develop their own personalised wellbeing plan and leave with practical, evidence-based strategies that can be applied immediately in their everyday lives

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  • Understand a practical model about doctors’ wellbeing

  • Identify early warning signs of burnout

  • Generate a personalised wellbeing plan

  • Explore strategies for enhancing wellbeing supports within your workplace
